2 Vintage Good Luck Postcards Birds Windowsill Flowers – Four Leaf Clover with Poem 146

This is for two early 1900's Good Luck post cards. The first shows three bluebirds flying around an open window sill. This floral scene is full of vibrant colors including the pink & white flowers, the blue birds, the gold windowsill, and white curtains. This is from the Series #632.
The second card has (4) Four Leaf Clovers and a poem which reads, "What we call Luck, Is simply Pluck, And doing things over and over; Courage and will, Perseverance and Skill, Are the four leaves of Luck's Clover."

Both cards measure approx. 3 1/2" x 5 1/2". The Good Luck Bluebird card has some writing on the back done in pencil but was never postmarked. It is in very good condition with very little signs of wear.

The green Clover Card is postmarked 1910, it was sent from Detroit Michigan to Hillsboro Wisconsin. It has some wear to the edges/corners and a bit of light soiling, but not too bad, still a nice old card.PRICE: $16.00 with FREE U.S. shipping

2 Antique B.B. London Greetings – Friendship Postcards 145

This is for a lot of two antique post cards. They both were made by the B.B London Company Printed in Germany and are both from the Series No. E 38.
The first card is a Greetings Sincere and features stationary, envelopes, and a feather calligraphy pen. The poem reads, "Whether you use a steel pen or a quill, Not a jot does it matter to me, It's not how you write, but the words you indite, Makes me anxious your writing to see."

The second is a To Seal Our Friendship and the poem reads, "May the seal of True Friendship Between us be found, As long as we live, And the world goes round."

They measure approx. 3 1/2" x 5 1/2". The cards are both postmarked 1909 and in good condition, just a little edge/corner wear.PRICE: $12.00 with FREE U.S. shipping

Antique 1909 Good Luck Golden Swastika Roses & Violets Postcard 144

A beautiful old floral post card. The poem inside the shield reads, "I Wish You happiness, I Wish you Joy, I Wish that Trouble may never you Annoy." The poem is surrounded by with pink, white, purple, and lavender flowers including roses and violets. There is also a red, white, and blue border with a gold colored swastika. The swastika has been a symbol of many things beyond that of the German use, the indians used it as a good luck symbol, also has been used for religious purposes. The swastika has been around for a very long time. The shape is defined as an equilateral cross with the arms bent at right angles.
The card measures approx. 5 1/2" x 3 1/2", and is postmarked 1909 and was sent from Lyndon Station Wisconsin to Hillsboro Wis. It is in good original condition, just some edge/corner wear. PRICE: $14.00 with FREE U.S. shipping
