A real nice early 1900's post card of the aftermath of the great earthquake and fire disaster. Written on the front of the card is, "The Phelan Monument, Market St,. San Francisco, Cal., after the earthquake and fire, April 18, 1906." Copyrighted, 1906, by the Rieder-Cardinell Co." On the back of the card it reads, "M. Rieder, Publisher Los Angeles, Cal." The card measures approx. 3 1/2" x 5 1/2". The card was never used and is in good shape with very little signs of wear on edge/corner and a tad bit of light soiling.
